History of NHAEOP

On April 22, 1939, at Carpenter Hotel in Manchester, 20 secretaries representing four school districts met to organize the New Hampshire Association of School Secretaries. Since that day, more than sixty-five years ago, NHAEOP has grown to over 330 members, representing most of the public school districts in New Hampshire, many of the private schools and the State Department of Education. The name was changed recently to better reflect our new membership: New Hampshire Association of Office Professionals.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide our members with the leadership and organization to recognize and take advantage of professional and personal growth opportunities. We pursue these through specifically designed certification programs and quality training and by establishing a network for sharing information and ideas, recognizing achievements and promoting fellowship.

Fall Meeting 2008

Our annual Fall Meeting will be held at The Common Man in Concord, NH on October 16th, 2008. Registration will be held at 5:30PM followed by dinner at 6:00PM. This year we will hold our Installation of Officers that will help oversee the organization for the next two years.

We will be continuing our semi-annual community project by donating canned goods to the local food bank. Please bring a canned good/cash to help with this wonderful project. Last year we were able to donate 320 pounds of food along with $155.00 in cash.

Don't forget your raffle items! Last year's raffle brought in $300 toward our Scholarship Fund for graduating seniors.
